Personal Statement
If service is your lifestyle, your reign will never end. I am Ayotomiwa Fashola, currently a sophomore at the illustrious University of Maryland Eastern Shore. With a 3.9 cumulative GPA, I am in the field of sociology with the aspiration to be a counselor or therapist in my near future. I would love to be the person I wish I had when I was younger to talk to. I want to be the change of my community and help people see that there is more good in this world than bad. I believe that may be why my drive is so high for community service and leadership activities because if you start small once you do more they'll be more people willing to engage with you. Given the opportunity to help people to better themselves and to even one day be better than myself is something I strive for. Being a leader takes a lot of responsibility and determination. All things that I do today are helping me build my future.
