Personal Statement
As the first child in my family to enter college I had no idea what to expect or who to turn to for advice. After finding my way with help from older friends I realized how overwhelming the higher education system could be to some. Since then I've helped underclassmen, non-traditional students, coworkers, and anyone looking to further their education. I'm a firm believer in the "help the next one in line" mentality. I love the outdoors and find joy in showing others the skills, lessons, and relief that come from being outside and connecting with nature.
