Elizabeth Jackson has a servant's heart. She serves quietly, she serves with compassion, she is open and giving of her gifts and talents. She is unassuming, yet unwavering in her service to those in need. Whether it be leading a community service trip with a group of her college peers, volunteering for a non-profit which serves international orphans, or using her talents to design t-shirts for student clubs and organizations, she does so with the qualities of a true servant leader----to make a difference in the lives of others while impacting each person she serves with in a personal way--- with their needs, not hers, in the forefront. As a Graphic Design major, Liz has selflessly offered her time and skills to provide t-shirt designs for several MCC student organizations as well as community based charitable organizations. Moreover, last year during the MCC Give Kids the World service trip, Liz was the glue that held the group together. She was touched by the mission of the organization, and returned with a deepened commitment to serving children with life threatening illnesses and their families. This year she took the lead role in the MCC GKW service trip---encouraging others to serve, arranging for the trip logistics, helping run a benefit dodge ball tournament for the cause, all while paying special attention to the needs of each team member.
