Personal Statement

I have always been passionate about serving my community and my love of service has continued into my college career. Meredith College has afforded me lots of opportunities to give back to my school and my community. While at Meredith, I have served as a Student Adviser, guiding and mentoring first year students, and on the Better Together Leadership Team, which is an interfaith student group on campus. I also spearheaded Meredith's first ever Suicide Awareness and Prevention Week, of which I served as the Chief Student Organizer. My community service involvement has shaped me into a strong student and leader, and will benefit me in the future as I pursue a career in ministry.
