Joshua Wallschlaeger
Northeast Wisconsin Technical CollegeJoshua Wallschlaeger is a dynamic student leader at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) in Green Bay, WI. Josh is very involved within the campus community as a Student Senate Officer, a leader in Phi Theta Kappa (the nations two-year college honor society), Wisconsin Student government, and NWTC’s RISE Student Leadership Program focused on diversity and inclusion in leadership. Josh is passionate about helping others succeed and he is very skilled at motivating fellow students to join in various causes.
Personal Statement
As a student leader I have been very involved throughout the campus community and well as advocating for technical education at the state level. I am looking forward to meeting with state representatives when I travel to Madison, WI to visit our State Capitol later this month. I plan to use my position as a student leader to effectively advocate on behalf of all students at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) and throughout the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS). I aspire to find more ways to give back to my community by way of meeting other like-minded students through the Newman Civic Fellowship experience.
