Exploring how social media can enhance the teaching of action research
This article explores how social media have been used to enhance the teaching and learning of action research. The authors discuss their experience with teaching an action research module in the ABCD program, which uses Web 2.0 technologies and social media to up-skill people who are ‘under-employed’ in South Wales, UK. The authors found that the module’s blog, chat, and forum tools were used by students to deepen their understanding of action research.
