Maeve Kirby, Susquehanna University

Maeve Kirby, a senior at Susquehanna University, is a very active student on campus. She has served in many leadership and service capacities including Vice President of Service for Alpha Phi Omega, Susquehanna’s largest service organization; Susquehanna University Neighborhood Council which provides inter-group collaboration and communication among service organizations on campus; Service Scholar in the Center for Civic Engagement where she helps coordinate major events. Maeve is thoughtful in her perspective, caring in her work and creative in her programming. She has set a standard of service for the multitude of students with whom she is in contact. Her dedication to service and leadership are quite evident as she is constantly identifying new ways to involve our campus community in volunteer activities. She strives to make every service experience poisitive for all involved and cannot seem to help being completely enthusiastic. Maeve is a natural leader and her passion for civic engagement clearly makes a difference in the campus and local communities.
