Donya Nasser, St. John’s University
Donya Nasser is a Government and Politics major with a concentration in Women’s and Gender Studies. She is a Ronald E. McNair Scholar. Donya carries an impressive 3.97 GPA and will graduate in May 2015. Donya is a student leader active in women’s empowerment. She has worked closely with the American Association of University Women through her involvement with their national student advisory council and internationally as their youth representative to the United Nations. She has spoken at national conferences such as the National Organization for Women and recently at the United National Political Empowerment of Girl Leaders. In 2013, she was a participant at Harvard University’s Public Policy and Leadership Conference.
