Dominique Lombardi, University of Redlands
Dominque Lombardi, a transfer student (from Mt. San Jacinto) at the University of Redlands, is already a national leader on issues regarding Native American youth. She is currently Co-President of United National Indian Tribal Youth (UNITY) – a national networking organization promoting personal development, citizenship, and leadership among Native American youth. She recently met with Senators and Congressmen in Washington about native youth issues and was the Pacific Regional Representative at the UNITY council. Having served three consecutive years as a Daughter of Morongo, she brings her knowledge of Cahuilla and Serrano cultures to our campus where it is celebrated. She is the current Secretary for our Native American Student Union and is already making her enthusiastic mark on educating our community about native culture and the importance of service, academics, and issues facing native youth.
