Daniel Cords, Antioch University Seattle
Daniel Cords came to Antioch University Seattle (AUS) to complete his BA degree and is currently enrolled in the AUS Master’s of Arts in Education Program. During his time with us, we have come to know Danny as an accomplished student and tireless advocate. Danny has distinguished himself as a knowledgeable public speaker on the harmful effects of Sexual Conversion Therapy and was recently awarded the David Barzilai GSBA Scholarship for his perseverance and commitment to being the next generation leader, working to create a better world and securing human rights for all. His educational goals include completing his Master’s of Arts in Education degree and possibly becoming a high school teacher or educational consultant to help young people who have experienced some of the abuse, discrimination and isolation that he endured as a youth. Danny has been part of the Seattle Men’s Chorus for the last seven years and volunteers for Arouet, a small theatre company with a mission in social justice.
