Corrynn Franklin, East Central University
Corrynn Franklin is a junior at East Central University and will graduate in the spring of 2015. Corrynn has emerged as the leader in local efforts to empower the unemployed and the underemployed to better themselves. She has established Ada Jobs for Life, a character development program through which participants learn to set goals and overcome behaviors that hindered them in the past. Corrynn is a tireless worker with exceptional organizational and leadership abilities she developed in her eight-year Navy career. She has inspired program participants, program workers and program supporters. Ada Jobs for Life has the potential to improve lives and bring drastic changes in participants’ standard of living for many years after they complete the program.
