Alexander Woodhouse, Babson College
Alex is an engaged and conscientious member of both the Babson and Greater Boston communities and is highly regarded by his mentors and peers as both an outstanding leader and caring citizen. Alex’s passion for civic engagement is demonstrated through his work as the President of the Philanthropy Tower–a living/learning community on campus–and as manager of four different youth development programs focused on mentorship and entrepreneurial leadership. Alex is committed to creating long-term impact and building capacity at local Housing Authorities, the Friends of the Homeless of the South Shore, and Cradles to Crayons. Alex has also worked alongside a Babson staff member to develop a focused curriculum for teaching entrepreneurship as a path to economic security and social improvement. Everyday, Alex inspires staff, faculty, and fellow students to take action to solve problems. He has a positive impact each day.
