Miranda Mantello, Franklin Pierce University
Miranda Mantello, a senior at Franklin Pierce University, has been involved in service throughout her four years at Franklin Pierce University. She gives freely of herself to better the lives of others and the campus community. As a freshman she began volunteering weekly in the Boynton Buddy – Youth Mentoring Program. She was matched with her Buddy for three semesters. In addition, during her freshman year she volunteered at the Monadnock Humane Society. As a sophomore she continued as a Boynton Buddy, participated in the Telephone Tales Youth Readership Program, served as a Peer Leader, took on an active Team Leader role in Relay for Life and participated in Alternative Spring Break. Throughout her Junior and Senior years she has continued a progressive track of service to the Franklin Pierce Community as a Peer Leader Trainer, became an Alternative Spring Break Team Leader, Co-Chaired then Chaired the Relay for Life Committee, volunteers on the A.L.A.N.A Board and worked in the Community Service Office as a Student Manager for the Telephone Tales – Youth Readership Program. Miranda is an inspiration to everyone she touches and Franklin Pierce University is proud to honor her with this award.
