Kimberly Kleszczynski, Salve Regina University
Kimberly Kleszczynski, a sophomore at Salve Regina University, is greatly involved with social issues facing not only students at the university, but also the greater community. Kimberly Kleszczynski is passionate about helping those in need, while inspiring and engaging others to do the same. She participates in and has coordinated many University events. She has worked for the Office of Community Service for two years as not only a work study, but a student member and mentor of the AmeriCorps Program as well as a Service Plunge participant and facilitator. She is the president of Salve’s Protect our Wildlife Club and the Public Relations Coordinator for Salve’s Alliance Club. Kim is the student coordinator of Salve’s first Hour to Empower, the student public relations coordinator of the Office of Multicultural programs, and a Resident Advisor. She was also a participant in Rhode Island’s first Dance Marathon. Her goal is to travel to developing countries to educate communities on how to make better choices in their environment for a healthier lifestyle. As she prepares for her life after Salve, there is no doubt that her passions for the environment and social change will translate not only into important improvements in the community, but also for global change.
