Jennifer Leedom, Moravian College
Jennifer Leedom, a junior at Moravian College, is actively involved in various organizations both on and off campus. As a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity (HFH) of the Lehigh Valley, she has worked with the marketing and development team. This position has assigned her tasks of designing organization guides on Habitat initiatives. In addition, Jennifer has created professional presentation materials providing a brief overview of HFH. Her exceptional research skills and dedication to service have enabled her to create outstanding presentations that capture the programing initiatives of HFH, Women Build, ReStore and Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative. Jennifer also assisted in planning and promoting the local Polar Bear Plunge for the HFH. Jennifer’s membership in Gamma Sigma Sigma, the national service sorority, allows her to be involved in a plethora of service projects with a wide variety of focuses. She has participated in bake sales to benefit local animal shelters, Alex’s Lemonade Stand and Holiday Hope Chests for Children of the Lehigh Valley. She also helped to crochet scarves for victims of Hurricane Sandy, donated blood and is actively involved in America Reads, where she volunteers two hours a week at Lincoln Elementary School. Jennifer’s involvement is inspiring.
