Melissa Prusko, Adler School of Professional Psychology
Melissa Prusko, a first year Doctoral Student in Clinical Psychology (Military Psychology track) at the Adler School, is active in issues related to youth violence in Chicago and supporting military veterans. Melissa has worked with children, adolescents and adults in after school programs, the Special Olympics, Park District recreation programs, medical settings and learning centers. During Melissa’s undergraduate work, she researched youth violence and advocated prevention to local government officials. As a graduate student, Melissa will be instrumental in research to measure the mental health impacts of a proposed public policy decision.
