Jessica Giraldo, Miami Dade College

Jessica Giraldo is a second-year, paralegal studies student at Miami Dade College. Her numerous civic activities include providing pro-bono legal services, assisting at a local domestic violence shelter and the State Attorney’s Office, and mentoring at a local elementary school. Jessica developed a peer-to-peer leadership training program called 305 Rise with the goal of helping low-income, first-generation college students earn degrees.  In addition, Jessica has helped the United Way and Miami Book Fair.  She serves in many legal associations and has given hundreds of Miami Dade county clients legal assistance in family law, commercial law and international arbitration.
