Stefany Stewart, East Central University, OK

Stefany Stewart, a junior at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, is a community organizer and social entrepreneur seeking long term solutions to community problems. Stefany is active as a volunteer both at Pauls Valley General Hospital and with her hometown high school, among other community organizations. She understands the power of volunteers and has been working to recruit volunteers to build the capacity of organizations she believes in. Stefany is currently leading an effort to involve teen volunteers with the Pauls Valley General Hospital Auxiliary in order to expand the services offered to patients and is active in inspiring recent and not so recent graduates to volunteer at her hometown high school.
