Personal Statement
I firmly believe that, "One must inspire others to dream more, learn more, and become more." I am a member of the Leadership Development Institute, a Service-Learning and Leadership Development initiative comprised of student leaders at Benedict College. In this capacity, I have assisted with developing and coordinating programs and activities dedicated to advancing civic engagement on the Benedict College campus and beyond. Additionally, I continue to involve myself in the surrounding community through activities such as mentoring at-risk youth and volunteering at local agencies that educate and increases awareness of substance abuse, risk management, and mental health. I aim to inspire my peers through my own actions.
