Jesse is a first year General Studies/Veterinary Technician Intent major with a career goal of becoming a veterinarian. Jesse has volunteered weekly for the past four years at his local veterinary clinic. Through these experiences, he became passionate about a career in veterinary science specifically the subjects of animal husbandry, behavior and classifications of animals. As an apprentice falconer, he helps to preserve the many populations of birds of prey. Jesse volunteers in his local community supporting the fire department. He is a member of the P.A.T.H (Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health) study, where he assists in research assessments that address the use tobacco and its effects on our health. Jesse is a sitting member on the Board of Directors of the Chazz Foundation which is dedicated to rescuing and re-homing German Shepherds. He supports and promotes this organization by setting up community events to raise money and awareness about the breed.
