Recruitment is now open for positions across the United States. AmeriCorps members serving with Campus Compact VISTA are leveraged to build capacity in one of five anti-poverty priority areas: Education, Economic Opportunity, Healthy Futures, Veterans and Military Families, and Environmental Stewardship. You must complete and submit your application to sites in the MyAmeriCorps Portal to apply. The process is competitive and positions fill quickly, apply early!
Benefits of Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA service include: choice of Segal Education Award or end-of-service stipend, bi-weekly living allowance (determined by county), relocation allowance (if moving more than 50 miles), basic health coverage, two weeks paid sick leave, two weeks paid personal leave, student loan forbearance or deferment if eligible, Non-Competitive Eligibility (NCE) for 1 year after the successful completion of VISTA service, ongoing training, support, and professional development, and childcare assistance if eligible.
