J.R. Jamison has been named the Executive Director of Indiana Campus Compact. He is the seventh leader to hold this role since the organization was founded in 1993. Jamison began his staff role with Indiana Campus Compact in 2005 as a Program Director, was promoted to Associate Director in 2006, and became the Interim Executive Director in August 2014. Before coming to Indiana Campus Compact, Jamison oversaw community engagement initiatives for college students at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.

Since he joined the Indiana Campus Compact team in 2005, Jamison has defined the umbrella term “service engagement” for the organization, designed several programs such as the “Building a Service Engagement Infrastructure” initiative, which established Centers for Service and Engagement on 10 Indiana campuses, and leveraged nearly $4,000,000.00 in funds to support the efforts of community-campus engagement throughout the State of Indiana.
