This workshop will engage participants in institutional reflection and action planning that helps them identify barriers to participation and pathways to center equity in the ways we do engagement work. Concepts and frameworks developed by Dr. Marisol Morales, Campus Compact's Vice President for Network Leadership, will be introduced. These include: Return on Equity, Asset Based Critical Engagement, and the Prism of Liberatory Engagement. Particular focus will be placed on ways to support students, faculty, and staff of color at various types of institutions.

Maine Campus Compact is pleased to host Making the Most of Good Work, a free virtual seminar for faculty, community-engagement officers, and career services professionals in higher education who are interested in discussing how community-based learning (CBL) fosters 21st-century skills and how faculty can align their CBL projects to career readiness.
