This workshop will engage participants in institutional reflection and action planning that helps them identify barriers to participation and pathways to center equity in the ways we do engagement work. Concepts and frameworks developed by Dr. Marisol Morales, Campus Compact's Vice President for Network Leadership, will be introduced. These include: Return on Equity, Asset Based Critical Engagement, and the Prism of Liberatory Engagement. Particular focus will be placed on ways to support students, faculty, and staff of color at various types of institutions.
