Coalition Conversations: Considering Approaches to Faculty Development

FreeThe field of community-engaged scholarship continues to evolve as we better understand the nuances of our work. Faculty development needs to follow a similar trajectory. In 2010, Doberneck, Glass and Schweitzer found that faculty divide their community-engaged work into four categories: research, teaching and learning, creative activities, and service. Faculty development efforts must address the type of community-engaged scholarship, institutional context, and the transformative nature of this work. What models are you using to create quality faculty development initiatives?
