Sustaining CBPR partnerships to address health disparities in times of economic instability
This report addresses the reality that CBPR partnerships in underserved communities face unanticipated challenges because of unstable economic environments. It describes challenges experienced by HealthLink, a CBPR partnership to address cancer disparities in Queens, N.Y. and how Health Link adapted. Recommendations for designing CBPR partnerships to overcome unexpected challenges are provided.
