Jenny Herbig, University of Saint Mary

Jenny Herbig, a 3rd-year double-major in criminology and psychology at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas, is a student leader active in numerous issues, but particularly on ending hunger. Jenny’s leadership to end hunger has been widespread across the community in that she is involved with the University of Saint Mary’s Campus Ministry “End Hunger” campaign. She was a leader for the second year in organizing Saint Mary’s SWIPE (StateWide International Packaging Event) and volunteers weekly at a Kansas City soup kitchen, Harvesters, and Catholic Charities. Jenny also recently represented the University of Saint Mary at the National Hunger Conference in Wichita, Kansas. Jenny’s additional leadership roles include serving as vice-president of Rotaract and treasurer of the Student Government Association.
