Victoria DiPippo, University of New Hampshire- Manchester

Victoria “Torie” DiPippo is a dedicated and respected student with a commitment to service and community engagement that is evident in everything she does. As lead of Students in Action this year, Torie has planned and recruited volunteers for bake sale fundraisers. She coordinated participation for Saturday morning food distribution and holiday gift-wrapping to raise money for the NH Food Bank. In collaboration with the Office of Community Outreach Scholarship, she planned and executed the fall 2012 First Year Service Day. Torie also collaborated with UNH Manchester’s Veterans and Allies Club’s initiative, Walk a Mile in a Veteran’s Boots, a fundraiser for the Liberty House Shelter. Torie serves as a PAL (peer assistant leader), as a coach, resource, and mentor for first year students and brings joy to many through her performances in Milling Around, UNH Manchester’s a cappella group. This spring she is bringing her energy to France in a study abroad program, but her energy and commitment continue at UNH Manchester.
