James T. Pathoulas, Saint John’s University

James T. Pathoulas, a junior at Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, has demonstrated a great commitment to giving of himself to provide opportunities to others. He is firm in his belief that every individual has unique gifts which can be intentionally cultivated in a nurturing environment. He has acted on this commitment through work with differently-abled young people, Special Olympians, minority students of color and the aged. These formative experiences have instilled in James a deep appreciation for the value of all people and, as he attests, “I am motivated to ensure my community cultivates an environment that unconditionally nurtures every person so they may reach their full potential.” James T.
