Tatiana Rodriguez, Florida Gulf Coast University

Tatiana Rodriguez, a second year student at Florida Gulf Coast University, is a civic-minded leader who strives to educate and empower at risk youth in the Dominican Republic (D.R). Over the past two years, she has worked with an outreach organization in the D.R, Accion Callejera, to improve the lives of thousands of children in poverty. She believes that being part of this organization has helped her make a difference in the lives of many underprivileged families. Her passion for taking action and improving this organization is contagious. She is an actively engaged leader who educates and inspires others to be agents of change. She plans to continue serving in the D.R. and in her community, as well as work toward her future goal of starting a non-profit organization that will provide support to families in need.
