Personal Statement

The John P. Murray Community Care Clinic creates opportunities for people in Stanly County to receive medications for free or at reduced cost. At the Community Care Clinic, I am helping to organize a fundraising event to raise money to help the Community Care Clinic continue its vital work in Stanly County. I will be interning at the clinic this summer to gain experience and help with their mission of giving everyone access to health care. My life goal is to create a non-profit organization that provides migraine sufferers in rural areas with access to information, medication, anxiety management, and support groups.
