Personal Statement

My studies at the Hellenic American University have helped me progress both as student as well as a citizen, and during those three years I've tried to offer my services in as many aspects as possible. Besides being a student, I am also an assistant at the Student Affairs and International Programs office, as well as the Vice President of the Student Council. Throughout these years, I was given the chance to help in organizing several events of our institution, such as psychology conferences and the Career Day event which offered students the opportunity to engage with various company representatives. In addition, I have been lucky enough to contribute in projects like teaching the elderly basic IT skills, as well as voluntarily offering English language courses to orphaned children in need. Lastly, I have offered my services in programs for refugees -and anyone in need- in Athens, and have successfully encouraged my fellow colleagues to contribute in reforestations and fundraising events for breast cancer, as well as participating in races such as the Athens Half Marathon.
